I am a twenty year old college student just trying to figure out life basically. Many people who are close to me call me an “old soul”, either because I give good advice or they just think I’m a grandma trapped inside a twenty year old body. When I was seventeen I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. After years of feeling horribly sick and dealing with crippling anxiety & depression, I had finally figured out the source of what was causing me to feel so badly.
I thought my healthy journey ended there. Surprise! Nope. I had no idea that being diagnosed with Celiac Disease was only the beginning of a very long journey ahead of me. All those feelings of anxiety and helplessness started coming back when I realized not many people with Celiac Disease were really talking about it on social media platforms. I felt alone with this new autoimmune disease I had recently discovered. I had no idea where to even begin. So, a couple of years later I decided to take my passion for writing and helping others and turn it into this blog, Sprinkled Fate. Here I plan to share all of my tips and tricks for what has healed my gut over the years, along with plenty of random “rants” for whatever is on my mind at the time.
